EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is seeking a highly motivated GMx Transition Manager for Tax. This role is crucial for leading and managing seamless transitions of services and processes for our clients. As part of a global integrated service delivery centre, you will contribute to a significant portion of our business, enabling clients to achieve successful business transformations.

As a Transition Manager, you will be instrumental in planning, coordinating, and executing complex transitions. Your responsibilities will include developing detailed transition plans with risk assessments, resource allocation, and communication strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure activities align with client requirements and timelines.

Key duties involve facilitating knowledge transfer and process documentation, monitoring progress, and proactively resolving any issues. You will also engage with stakeholders at all levels, managing expectations and ensuring high-quality outcomes throughout the transition lifecycle. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.

We are looking for candidates with extensive experience, a minimum of 10 years, in transition management, project management, and transformational initiatives within a global context. A proven track record of managing large, multi-country, and multi-service complex implementations is essential.

Expertise in risk identification and mitigation, coupled with strong stakeholder management skills across clients, internal teams, and vendors, is required. The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to dynamic environments while maintaining high standards is crucial. Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analytics, along with familiarity with project management systems, is also necessary. Experience in Finance (Tax/F&A) or Banking scope transitions is preferred.
