This role is within the Commercial Management Office (CMO) of the Global Managed Services team, a crucial area for EY's growth strategy. You will be instrumental in supporting, implementing, and producing top-tier financial reporting, controls, and commercial processes for our most complex Managed Services engagements.

This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with engagement teams, client managers, commercial directors, and risk practitioners. Your focus will be on ensuring adherence to contractual terms, minimizing risk, and fostering robust commercial relationships. The role is central to enhancing our operating model for Managed Services pursuits and engagements, with ambitious growth plans over the coming years.

As a key member of the CMO team, you will be responsible for the consistent management of contracts and proposals, overseeing contractual processes throughout Managed Services engagements. Your duties will include assisting in the implementation of financial processes and controls for large, complex engagements, and identifying, managing, and proposing mitigation strategies for commercial, performance, and contract risks to improve margins and contractual health.

You will develop commercial frameworks for governance programs, performance management, and dispute resolution. Supporting financial forecasts, tracking performance against projections, and conducting root cause analysis for variances will also be part of your role. Additionally, you will participate in internal and client governance forums and negotiations, develop playbooks for managing commercial aspects of engagements, and ensure compliance with contract commitments. Optimizing EY's profitability by leveraging deep contract knowledge and supporting revenue allocation mechanisms for member firms are also key aspects of this role.

The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 5 years of experience in a complex managed services environment and 5 years in a commercial role within the professional services domain, specifically focused on Managed Services contracts. Proven experience in applying commercial and financial skills to the development, negotiation, and delivery of Managed Services and strategic deals is essential, alongside strong contractual drafting skills.

Candidates should have experience supporting negotiations for complex Managed Services opportunities and possess contract management expertise, ideally gained within a top-tier professional services firm. Excellent collaboration skills for effective global teamwork and stakeholder engagement are required. A high degree of flexibility, drive, the ability to work under pressure, and strong organizational skills for independent planning and execution are crucial. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is mandatory. A Bachelor's degree or MBA in a relevant field such as Business, Commerce, or Finance is required.
