Manage and optimize Akamai Kona WAF to defend web applications against OWASP Top 10 threats. Configure Netskope SWG policies for secure internet access and robust threat protection. Develop and implement Illumio micro segmentation policies to control east-west traffic and reduce lateral movement risk.

Collaborate with SOC, network, cloud, and application teams to support incident response and policy adjustments. Analyze logs, refine false positive rates, and maintain essential operational documentation. Provide support for audits, compliance requirements, and ongoing security enhancements.

Seeking a security engineer with up to 3 years of practical experience in Web Application Firewall (WAF), Secure Web Gateway (SWG), and Micro Segmentation. This role is crucial for securing applications, managing internet access, and mitigating lateral movement risks within enterprise environments.

Essential skills include hands-on experience with Akamai Kona, Netskope, and Illumio, coupled with a strong understanding of web security principles, HTTP/S protocols, and the OWASP Top 10. Familiarity with proxy/SWG concepts and Zero Trust/segmentation principles is required, alongside solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls).
