Key responsibilities include managing and optimizing Proofpoint SEG for protection against phishing, BEC, spam, and malware. You will investigate email threats and support Security Operations Center (SOC) incident response activities.

This role also involves supporting Microsoft Exchange Online/DAG mail flow and troubleshooting issues. You'll execute eDiscovery and Legal Hold processes using Microsoft Purview and manage retention, compliance, and governance policies. Additionally, support email archiving and discovery with Veritas Enterprise Vault, while collaborating with Legal, Compliance, SOC, and Messaging teams.

The ideal candidate possesses hands-on experience with Proofpoint Email Security and a strong understanding of email security threats and protocols like SPF/DKIM/DMARC. You should have experience with Microsoft Purview for eDiscovery and retention.

Familiarity with Varonis for data governance and experience supporting Veritas Enterprise Vault are essential. Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, DAG, and mail flow is also required. Preferred skills include PowerShell scripting for Exchange/M365 and SIEM integration for email security logs. Relevant Microsoft, Proofpoint, or Veritas certifications are a plus.
