Manage and optimize Secure Email Gateway (SEG) solutions, focusing on Proofpoint and Microsoft Defender for Office 365/EOP. This includes administering email security policies for anti-phishing, anti-spam, malware, and encryption.

Configure and maintain the Varonis Data Security Platform for data access governance, analyzing permissions, and monitoring sensitive data. Conduct data access reviews and remediate permissions issues.

Investigate email security incidents and user-reported phishing. Monitor Varonis for anomalous file access and data exfiltration risks. Develop reports and dashboards for email security and data governance controls.

Collaborate with SOC, IAM, Infrastructure, and Business teams to enhance security posture and meet compliance. Support security audits, risk assessments, and governance initiatives.

A professional with 2+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Email Security, or Data Security is sought. Essential hands-on experience includes Proofpoint Email Protection, Microsoft Defender for Office 365/EOP, and Varonis Data Security Platform.

A strong understanding of phishing, malware, email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and email threat protection is required. Proficiency in data access governance, file permission management, and data classification is also necessary.

Familiarity with security operations, incident response, and SIEM integration is beneficial. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and stakeholder management skills are crucial for success in this role.
