As a Senior Consultant within our Global Managed Service – Identity and Access Management team, you will play a crucial role in the Okta Provisioning function. This senior position is dedicated to ensuring the effective management of user identities and access permissions. You will lead provisioning processes, develop integration and automation strategies, and uphold security policies and regulatory compliance.

Lead the administration and management of user accounts, roles, and access rights within the Okta platform. Design and implement efficient user provisioning and de-provisioning workflows in collaboration with HR, IT, and security teams. Serve as a subject matter expert for Okta authentication, authorization, SSO, and MFA solutions. Oversee the integration of new applications with Okta and ensure seamless SSO experiences. Develop and maintain IAM policies, procedures, and documentation, ensuring compliance. Conduct regular access reviews and audits to mitigate security risks. Provide advanced technical support and training to end-users and junior analysts. Drive identity governance initiatives and enhance RBAC models. Recommend and implement improvements to IAM processes and the Okta environment. Stay informed about Okta updates and IAM industry trends to drive innovation. Develop and maintain documentation for processes, workflows, and configurations. Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and IAM best practices. Provide ongoing support and guidance to stakeholders. Monitor and report on system performance, usage, and security issues.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required.

We seek candidates with 3-5 years of experience in identity and access management, specifically focusing on Okta or similar IAM platforms. Essential skills include in-depth knowledge of IAM principles, SSO, MFA, directory services, and cloud identity management. Proven experience managing complex user provisioning and de-provisioning scenarios is key.

Familiarity with IT security standards and compliance frameworks such as SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR is expected. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills are necessary, alongside strong leadership abilities and experience mentoring junior staff. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for interacting with diverse stakeholders. Relevant certifications like Okta Certified Administrator, Consultant, or Professional are highly desirable.

This role requires a willingness to travel as needed, participate in on-call support, and work occasional overtime or in shifts as required.
