Boston Consulting Group (BCG) seeks a senior IT Solution Architect to drive digital transformation and spearhead the implementation of cutting-edge solutions. This role is pivotal in architecting, designing, and delivering cohesive technical solutions, with a primary focus on new implementations, enhancements, and system integration. Architect and deliver Generative AI solutions, including copilots, workflow automation, and knowledge assistants, from prototype to production. Accelerate delivery using AI-assisted engineering tools while maintaining high quality and security standards. Design and scale agentic systems, establishing comprehensive standards for agent development, orchestration, deployment, and monitoring.

Establish reusable patterns and services for consistent tool integration, governance, and lifecycle management. Define enterprise-scaling patterns for access control, guardrails, evaluation, observability, cost management, and reliability. Build and validate production-viable prototypes for emerging technologies, assessing feasibility, security, operability, and scalability.

Interpret business needs into technical solutions. Collaborate with enterprise architects and engineers to align technical designs with enterprise standards and roadmaps. Ensure consistency and integration across multiple systems and solutions to serve business lines effectively. Leverage broad technology expertise, including infrastructure, data management, and application development, with a focus on cloud platforms and integration technologies.

A Master’s Degree in Computer Science is essential, coupled with 14 years of professional experience, including 10 years in designing and implementing business-critical applications in multi-region environments and at least 1 year of deep exposure to LLM-based business applications. Minimum of 7 years as a software developer, ideally in multitenant/SaaS projects, and prior experience as a Solutions Architect are required.

Demonstrated hands-on Solution Architect capabilities, including building reference implementations, are crucial. Strong experience with AI coding assistants and their safe enterprise usage, alongside familiarity with GenAI development platforms for rapid prototyping, is expected. Deep expertise in agent patterns (RAG, tool use, planning, memory, guardrails, HITL) and their production operations, as well as experience with agent orchestration and deployment, is vital.

Advanced expertise in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native technologies is necessary. Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Python and Typescript, understanding of SDLCs and methodologies, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and distributed systems concepts are key. The ability to document business processes and system architectures, experience with various architectural patterns (microservices, event-driven), and an enthusiastic, self-motivated attitude are also essential.
