This role involves overall technical responsibility for designing, developing, and supporting BCG's internal business applications. You will collaborate with internal and external developers, project managers, and business analysts to create high-quality applications that meet organizational needs.

As a senior specialist, you will participate in hands-on development, provide technical guidance, and oversee development activities to ensure successful project execution. You will be accountable for the technical health of these applications, focusing on code quality and operational effectiveness.

Take ownership of the technical design, development, and support of a suite of internal business applications. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, business analysts, and developers (internal and external). Engage in hands-on coding while also providing technical leadership and oversight for development efforts. Ensure the quality, performance, and operational effectiveness of applications from a technical standpoint. Participate in an Agile development environment and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

Possess a college degree and 4-6 years of experience in developing business applications within a commercial IT or consulting setting. Demonstrate strong proficiency in front-end technologies like React, TypeScript, and Webpack 5 with Module Federation. Exhibit significant experience with Node.js, Express, and Apollo Server for web application and service development. Have robust experience with code versioning tools such as Git. Include experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS, and containerization technologies like Docker. Showcase practical knowledge of AI coding tools, including GitHub Copilot and Claude, and understand their integration into the development workflow. Proven ability to deliver secure, well-tested, and high-performing code with comprehensive automated test coverage. Familiarity with Dev-Sec-Ops practices and IAM security is essential.
