As a Global IT Platform Engineer Manager, you will play a pivotal role within the Engineering Toolkit Squad. This role is crucial for empowering our engineers by providing secure, scalable, and self-service engineering capabilities. Your deep technical expertise will directly enhance the platforms and services that allow our teams to focus on solving complex client challenges.

Drive AI enablement initiatives, focusing on designing and deploying practical Generative AI solutions for engineering teams. Lead the ongoing development of essential developer platforms, including GitHub Enterprise, JFrog Artifactory, and Gurobi Optimizer. Evaluate emerging technologies, making informed recommendations based on engineering needs, potential risks, scalability, and business impact.

Spearhead the resolution of complex platform, infrastructure, and security challenges across both Windows and Linux environments. Proactively identify platform risks and dependencies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective mitigation strategies. Enhance engineering productivity through automation, self-service capabilities, and the implementation of low-code/no-code platforms.

Foster alignment across engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to effectively prioritize and deliver ambitious platform initiatives. Facilitate the transfer of technical knowledge through comprehensive documentation, training programs, mentoring, and guidance, empowering teams to operate with greater independence.

Possess deep expertise in GitHub Enterprise, encompassing Copilot, Actions, Codespaces, and associated developer security tools. Demonstrate strong experience administering JFrog Artifactory, including its Xray component, projects, repositories, and storage governance features. Exhibit proven experience managing Gurobi Optimizer environments and supporting on-premises compute infrastructure.

Leverage strong Windows and Linux expertise, covering platform administration, automation, networking, and security aspects. Be proficient in Python, Shell, or similar scripting languages for automating intricate operational workflows. Showcase practical experience evaluating and applying AI technologies, particularly Generative AI, to address real-world engineering challenges.

Possess the ability to lead complex technical workstreams, effectively resolve escalated issues, and transfer technical expertise to diverse teams. You will be a key contributor, collaborating with engineers, case teams, infrastructure professionals, and business partners across BCG to build alignment and drive the adoption of AI-powered and developer technologies.
