Join Boston Consulting Group as a Senior Specialist in IT Cloud Infrastructure Engineering. This role is pivotal in integrating robust security practices across our cloud-based services and infrastructure within the BCG Knowledge portfolio. You will act as a key liaison between development, operations, and security teams, ensuring that applications and infrastructure are inherently secure by design. Drive cloud infrastructure strategy aligned with business objectives, designing scalable, resilient, and cost-effective architectures on AWS and Azure.

Manage cloud workloads for optimal performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.

Implement and automate deployments, leveraging container orchestration with Kubernetes and OpenShift, and deploying security monitoring tools such as Veracode and Prisma Cloud.

Collaborate with DevOps for seamless CI/CD pipeline integration, enabling serverless computing with AWS Lambda and Azure Functions, and optimizing observability with Datadog, CloudWatch, Splunk, and ELK.

Support ML Ops for AI-driven applications and implement edge computing solutions for low-latency performance. Develop and execute incident response plans, ensuring real-time monitoring and proactive issue detection.

A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud platform engineering (AWS or Azure) is essential.

Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes (4+ years), CI/CD tools like Jenkins or CircleCI (3+ years), and IaC tools such as Packer and Terraform (3+ years) is required.

Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell are necessary, along with experience in cloud networking (VPC, VPN, Load Balancers, DNS).

Familiarity with security tools like SonarQube and Veracode, monitoring tools like Datadog, and secrets management solutions (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, CyberArk) is expected.

Experience with Vector DB or Graph DB is a plus. AWS or Azure certifications and application development experience are considered beneficial.
