Join Boston Consulting Group's Enterprise Architecture team as a hands-on Solution Architect Senior Manager. This role is pivotal in shaping and delivering technical solutions, with a strong focus on data platform implementation, data products, and data integration.

You will drive consistency and synergy across enterprise-wide solutions by overseeing multiple workstreams. This position offers a unique opportunity to innovate, collaborate, and influence data engineering best practices within BCG, while leading high-visibility enterprise initiatives.

Oversee multiple workstreams to ensure consistency and synergy across enterprise solutions, driving innovation and influencing data engineering best practices.

Collaborate with project teams to deliver results, balancing project goals with adherence to standards and best practices. Provide oversight to domain architects and engineering leads across various portfolios.

Facilitate cross-enterprise coordination to address data architecture and integration needs, working with multi-disciplinary teams to advance the Tech@BCG strategy and develop technology roadmaps.

Act as a key interface with technical partners, ensuring value delivery and facilitating coordination on joint initiatives.

A minimum of 2 years in architecture/engineering roles, ideally with experience in both engineering and solution architecture, and extensive experience developing and operating high-performance data solutions.

Possess deep knowledge of structured and unstructured data, with the ability to translate complex business problems into outcome-driven solution architectures, clearly documenting trade-offs.

Demonstrate expertise in data engineering (Python preferred), API/microservice design (REST, GraphQL), and event-driven architecture (e.g., AWS Eventbridge, Kafka).

Proficiency in solution engineering across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), cloud services, networking, and security. Experience designing and building scalable ingestion pipelines (Fivetran, AWS Glue, Airbyte, DBT, Airflow, or similar).

Experience evaluating GenAI and agentic solutions, including building MCP servers, skills/tools, and agent orchestration frameworks. Expertise in agent patterns, LLMs, RAG, vector/graph databases, memory management, security guardrails, and HITL workflows.
