Define and implement robust data architectures for our Data Products Portfolio, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards. Evaluate and recommend data tools and technologies, establishing best practices for our data ecosystem. Collaborate with Enterprise Data Architects on standards and conduct Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to validate new approaches. Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to Data Engineers and Analysts. Develop and maintain comprehensive data governance frameworks, including processes, standards, and policies. Create and update conceptual, logical, and physical data models to visualize business entities and relationships. Work closely with business and IT teams to capture and translate data requirements. Maintain an accurate data dictionary with detailed table and column definitions. Present architectural designs and recommendations effectively to both technical and business stakeholders. Partner with cross-functional teams in an Agile framework to meet program goals and deadlines, acting as a trusted technical advisor.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience is essential; a degree in information science, data management, or computer science is preferred. Requires a minimum of 12 years of IT experience with a strong focus on data warehousing and database projects. Demonstrated expertise in cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks), data cataloging, and Master Data Management (MDM). Proficiency in SQL, database procedures, and designing solution architectures with consideration for integration, data flows, and security. Strong command of data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) and documenting architectural work. Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Talend, dbt, Fivetran), data analytics platforms (Tableau, Power BI), and APIs. Experience in Data Warehousing, BI/Analytical systems, and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Solid experience in data and analytics architecture, solution design, and engineering, including cloud Big Data technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP). Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex architectural concepts persuasively and build stakeholder confidence.
