Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Configuration Squad within the LEAP team, focusing on enhancing BCG's new Learning platform. This role is crucial for building first-class foundational capabilities in data-driven environments.

The Business Analyst will be instrumental in analyzing, defining, and implementing requirements for BCG's learning and development initiatives. Key responsibilities include analyzing and translating business and functional needs into actionable requirements for the new Learning platform. You will perform hands-on system configuration, ensuring direct implementation of changes.

This role involves eliciting, documenting, and validating requirements through engagement with various stakeholders and subject matter experts. You will craft clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and maintain essential documentation such as PRDs and functional specifications.

Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels is vital, as is developing and executing test plans for functional, integration, and user acceptance testing. You will also manage and triage support requests using systems like ServiceNow and actively participate within an Agile framework, owning your backlog items and proactively identifying risks and dependencies.

A Bachelor's degree is required, coupled with 5–8 years of experience as a Business or Systems Analyst, preferably supporting enterprise applications.

Preferred experience includes the Learning domain or HR technology, along with hands-on configuration of SaaS platforms. Candidates should have experience gathering complex requirements from multiple stakeholder groups and working within Agile structures, including writing user stories and utilizing Jira.

Demonstrated experience in developing and executing system-level test plans is necessary. Familiarity with managing support requests in systems like ServiceNow is also important. Experience with data analysis in Excel or AI tools is beneficial, and proficiency in reading/writing SQL queries and analyzing data in Snowflake is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
