Join our finance team as an expert Financial Accountant, driving accuracy and strategic insights. This role is pivotal in ensuring all financial data is meticulously managed, compliant, and clearly communicated to stakeholders. Your expertise will directly influence key business decisions and uphold financial integrity.

As an advanced subject matter expert, you'll be responsible for comprehensive financial reporting, precise journal entry processing, and efficient month-end closing procedures. You will also prepare detailed balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring data integrity and providing actionable insights that support strategic business objectives. This position is critical for maintaining accurate, compliant financial information for both internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end monthly closing activities, processing prepaids, accruals, and daily accounting entries. You will prepare and analyze monthly balance sheet schedules, conduct P&L variance analysis with supporting documentation, and oversee bank account reconciliations.

Additional duties involve performing credit card reconciliations, accurately allocating expenses, and serving as a primary contact for external audits. Collaboration with the treasury team for weekly cash projections and accurate recording of foreign exchange transactions are also vital. You'll execute inter-entity cost allocations, manage inter-company accounting for assets, and handle payroll-related accruals and tax entries, ensuring adherence to IFRS standards.

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field, complemented by at least 12 years of relevant experience. A strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is essential.

Ideal candidates possess exceptional attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong planning and organizational abilities. Experience with international entities, foreign currency, and inter-company transactions is highly valued. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems like SAP and BPC is an advantage.
