We are seeking a hands-on Technical Lead specializing in Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI. This role requires extensive experience with Microsoft Azure AI services, Agentic AI frameworks, Large Language Model (LLM) orchestration, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Python, APIs, and cloud-native development. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting secure, scalable, and production-ready GenAI applications. This position also involves leading technical delivery, mentoring developers, and upholding engineering best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Lead the development of GenAI and Agentic AI solutions leveraging Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure Agent Service, Microsoft Agent Framework, and LangGraph. Design and develop intricate Agentic AI workflows encompassing planning, reasoning, state management, memory, tool calling, orchestration, and human review processes. Construct enterprise-grade RAG solutions utilizing Azure AI Search, vector search, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL with pgvector, and Redis. Build advanced prompt pipelines, embeddings, retrieval logic, context enrichment strategies, tool integrations, model evaluation frameworks, content safety measures, and AI guardrails. Develop Python-based APIs and microservices using FastAPI or Django, integrating them seamlessly with Azure AI and existing enterprise applications. Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure App Service, and Azure API Management. Implement robust CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. Ensure comprehensive security through authentication, authorization, managed identities, Key Vault, private endpoints, and secure service communication, alongside implementing monitoring and logging. Optimize application performance using caching, asynchronous processing, batching, vector index optimization, and autoscaling techniques. Conduct thorough reviews of technical designs and code to guarantee scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, and optimal performance. Oversee technical design, estimation, development, testing, deployment, production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Provide guidance to developers and foster collaboration with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps, security, data, and integration teams.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. We are looking for candidates with 5 to 8 years of comprehensive software development experience. Demonstrated strong hands-on experience in AI, GenAI, Agentic AI, or cloud-native application development on the Microsoft Azure platform is essential. Proven experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, RAG, embeddings, vector retrieval, prompt engineering, and model evaluation. Familiarity with Azure Agent Service, Microsoft Agent Framework, LangGraph, or comparable Agentic AI frameworks is necessary. A solid understanding of agent orchestration, planning, reasoning, memory, state management, tool calling, and workflow implementation is expected. Strong proficiency in Python development, utilizing frameworks such as FastAPI or Django, is a key requirement. Experience with databases like Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, pgvector, or similar solutions. Practical experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure API Management, Docker, Git, and CI/CD practices. Good understanding of security principles, observability, scalability, reliability, performance tuning, and production support. Previous experience leading developers and working within Agile delivery teams across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
