Implement, configure, and support GE Proficy MES solutions, including Plant Applications, Production Execution, GE Historian, IGS, and GE iFIX. Integrate ERP systems with Proficy, and connect shop-floor systems and SCADA. Manage the full lifecycle of change requests, from development and testing to deployment and rollout across manufacturing sites. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports, and data integrations. Troubleshoot production issues promptly and ensure compliance with manufacturing and quality standards. Create essential technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles. Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements.
We seek an experienced GE Proficy MES Consultant with 4-6 years in MES implementation and support. Essential expertise includes ERP-Proficy integration, shop-floor system integration, and SCADA systems. A strong understanding of MES concepts and manufacturing processes is crucial.
Proficiency is required with GE Proficy Plant Applications, GE Historian, IGS, and GE iFIX. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server, and IIS 7.0+ is necessary. Familiarity with development tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and programming languages such as Python, VBA, HTML, and .NET is key. Proven ability in change control, solution development, and independent task ownership is expected.
