Join EY and build a career that is as unique as you are. Leverage global scale, supportive culture, and advanced technology to become your best self. Your distinct perspective is vital in helping EY excel. Contribute to an exceptional personal journey and a better global working world.

The GDS Alliances Operations Lead Analyst will operate within the GDS Program Operations CoE, offering structured operational support, governance, stakeholder coordination, reporting, content management, and execution assistance across various alliances. This role supports ongoing alliance activities while also providing flexible, need-based support for others, adapting to shifting business priorities. You will empower alliance leadership teams with effective, insight-driven, and scalable operating models by meticulously tracking priorities, managing operational cadences, enhancing process discipline, and facilitating timely execution across sales, build, and delivery initiatives. Collaborating closely with alliance, market, finance, contracts, training, BMC, and enablement stakeholders, you will drive delivery consistency, improve data and reporting quality, streamline workflows, and identify automation opportunities. This includes the responsible integration of AI-enabled tools to reduce manual efforts, enrich reporting narratives, and elevate operational outcomes.

Responsibilities

As the primary operations and PMO support for assigned alliance activities, you will ensure clear capture, diligent tracking, and consistent progression of priorities, workstreams, owners, timelines, risks, and dependencies. Provide alliance leadership teams with timely business insights through structured reporting, dashboards, and executive-ready narratives covering sales, pipeline, opportunity tagging, partner-sourced and co-sell activities, prospect tracking, key Go-To-Market (GTM) wins, book of business movements, partner program metrics, and other vital performance indicators.

Support governance cadences for leadership meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), planning forums, and operational reviews. This involves developing agendas, storyboarding content, coordinating inputs, preparing meeting materials, capturing actions, and tracking their closure. Maintain and continuously refresh alliance reference materials, SharePoint content, leadership presentations, internal updates, and enablement assets to enhance findability, consistency, relevance, and adoption across stakeholder groups. Coordinate with Brand, Marketing, and Communications teams to develop and maintain alliance-related content, ensuring alignment with messaging standards, stakeholder expectations, and partner program requirements.

Program manage partner tools, portals, and operational processes for assigned alliances, encompassing access request tracking, issue resolution, adoption monitoring, certification and skills currency tracking, training coordination, and tool administration. Collaborate with investment, finance, legal, and enablement teams to support market development fund, co-investment, and related funding processes, including investment tracking, compliance monitoring, periodic reviews, documentation readiness, claims support, and process adherence. Support alliance contract and governance activities, including the initiation and tracking of global agreement localization, program documentation, partner designation/specialization requirements, and related compliance actions in conjunction with the Ecosystem Contracts team and relevant business stakeholders.

Partner with onshore alliance leaders and enablement contacts on strategic projects, transformation initiatives, stakeholder mapping, partner offering/marketplace coordination, event/sponsorship coordination, training interventions, and other priority initiatives. Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve alliance operations through process mapping, documentation, issue analysis, control strengthening, data quality enhancements, and the adoption of reusable templates and playbooks. Leverage automation and responsible AI-enabled tools to reduce repetitive manual activity, improve reporting turnaround times, support content drafting, enhance insight generation, improve follow-up tracking, and enable scalable service delivery. Manage stakeholder expectations, communication plans, and delivery commitments with clarity, responsiveness, and a strong service orientation across global and regional teams.

Qualifications

A strong understanding of alliance, ecosystem, or partner program operations is essential, ideally within professional services, technology, consulting, shared services, or global capability centers. Exposure to diverse technology partners, enterprise software, cloud, data, CRM, workflow automation, low-code platforms, or digital transformation ecosystems is advantageous. You should possess working knowledge of sales, revenue, pipeline, opportunity lifecycles, partner program metrics, GTM motions, co-sell or referral activities, partner distinctions, specialization requirements, and performance reporting, with the ability to translate data into concise, executive-ready insights.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required; Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, workflow tools, or other reporting and collaboration platforms are considered a plus. Experience with continuous improvement, process simplification, and operational excellence, including process mapping, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) development, control documentation, audit readiness, root cause analysis, and issue resolution, is expected. The ability to identify automation opportunities and responsibly apply digital tools to enhance productivity, reporting quality, follow-up discipline, knowledge management, and stakeholder experience is crucial. Practical exposure to generative AI tools for research, content development, summarization, insight generation, workflow support, and productivity enhancement is preferable, particularly concepts related to Agentic AI, AI-enabled process automation, AI agents, or Copilot-style productivity tools.

Strong stakeholder management capabilities are necessary, enabling engagement with senior onshore stakeholders, anticipation of needs, expectation management, and building trusted advisor relationships across functions and geographies. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required, including business writing, executive presentation development, narrative building, and the capacity to create high-quality content with minimal initial guidance. Sharp analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, research capability, and meticulous attention to detail are important, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams to drive practical and timely resolutions. Experience working in virtual, matrixed, and multi-geography environments with cultural sensitivity, collaborative discipline, and a global mindset is beneficial.

Academically, an MBA, postgraduate qualification, or equivalent professional experience is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering, commerce, or a related discipline is required. Project/program management certification, process improvement certification, or relevant alliance, partner program, technology partner, or enterprise software certification would be an added advantage. Certifications or digital badges in generative AI, responsible AI, AI-enabled productivity, prompt engineering, automation, analytics, or Agentic AI concepts are highly desirable, especially those demonstrating practical application in business operations, reporting, process improvement, knowledge management, or stakeholder enablement.

Requires 8+ years of progressive, relevant experience in alliance operations, program management, business operations, sales/GTM enablement, ecosystem support, consulting operations, technology partner enablement, or enterprise software partner operations. Experience supporting multiple alliances or technology partner ecosystems is preferred. Demonstrated experience supporting senior stakeholders in a matrixed, global environment, with exposure to governance routines, executive reporting, process coordination, and cross-functional delivery is expected. Experience in reporting, dashboarding, content development, stakeholder tracking, or operational improvement initiatives would be beneficial. Working hours will align with US Central or Eastern Time Zones based on stakeholder coverage and business requirements.
