As a Senior, you will lead and mentor a team of Tax Analysts, ensuring adherence to technical quality and utilization targets through close collaboration and development. This role is central to assisting clients in achieving their business objectives by applying your knowledge and experience in tax and accounting.

Your core responsibilities will involve the meticulous preparation of complex tax returns and work papers. You will also act as a crucial first-level reviewer, mirroring the role of a counterpart in US engagements, ensuring the quality of deliverables before final review by engagement teams.

Furthermore, you will be instrumental in monitoring engagement team progress against project plans and budgets. People management is key, encompassing the development of team members by fostering independent thinking and accountability, effective delegation across all staff levels, and championing teamwork through leading by example. Utilizing technology to enhance knowledge sharing and service delivery, alongside maintaining cooperative relationships with other engagement teams, will be vital.

To excel in this role, a minimum of 3-4 years of relevant work experience is essential. Candidates with less experience but holding professional qualifications like MBAs or Chartered Accountant certifications will also be considered. A Bachelor's degree in Commerce is required, with a preference for those pursuing Master's degrees.

Strong candidates will possess completed Chartered Accountant/Cost Work Accountant qualifications or other related postgraduate degrees. Intermediate completion ('Inter') of CA/CWA is considered a strong asset. Ideal candidates will demonstrate advanced technical acumen in tax and accounting, coupled with excellent people management and communication skills, both written and spoken.
