Seeking a Functional UAT Tester Subcontractor to collaborate with business stakeholders, understand requirements, and define UAT scope. This role involves creating comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on business processes.

The primary focus is on validating end-to-end workflows, ensuring they align with business expectations. You will facilitate UAT execution by coordinating with business users and providing essential support throughout the process.

Accurate documentation of UAT results, feedback, and securing formal sign-off from stakeholders are key responsibilities. Ensuring all critical business scenarios and edge cases are thoroughly tested is paramount.

This position also requires tracking, analyzing, and resolving issues identified during UAT, working closely with development and QA teams. Maintaining clear and detailed records of test cases, defects, and their resolutions is essential.

Define UAT scope and objectives by collaborating with business stakeholders to understand functional requirements. Prepare detailed UAT test cases and scenarios derived from business process flows and requirements. Validate end-to-end system workflows to confirm alignment with business expectations. Coordinate UAT execution, engaging business users and providing necessary support. Document UAT results and feedback, securing formal sign-off from stakeholders. Ensure comprehensive coverage of critical business scenarios and edge cases during testing. Track, analyze, and resolve issues with development and QA teams post-UAT. Maintain meticulous documentation for test cases, defects, and resolutions.

A strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and UAT processes is required. Previous experience in testing ERP, CRM, or other enterprise applications is necessary. Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, ADO, or similar is expected. Demonstrated ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios. Excellent communication and coordination skills for cross-functional team collaboration. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Proficiency in SQL and database validation is needed. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and sprint-based testing cycles is beneficial. Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar is advantageous.
