Join NTT DATA as a Functional Lead specializing in Core Banking. This pivotal role focuses on corporate and syndicated lending, demanding deep expertise in banking systems and client lifecycle management. You will drive end-to-end functional design and lead critical decisions for company and book structures, jurisdictional modeling, and legal entity design.

This position requires hands-on leadership in navigating complex functional challenges, ensuring seamless integration across core banking modules. You will be instrumental in resolving intricate issues related to holidays, rollovers, revaluations, and customer data. Effective collaboration with Temenos product and architecture teams is essential, involving the review and closure of BRDs and functional use cases.

Candidates will produce concise design and governance documents to inform Design Authority and senior stakeholders. A rigorous approach to data analysis and impact assessment will be necessary to support and defend design choices. You will serve as a senior escalation point, adept at managing ambiguity, legacy constraints, and dependencies to ensure successful project delivery.

Own the comprehensive functional design for corporate and syndicated lending products within the Transact platform.

Lead and finalize decisions concerning company structures, book structures, jurisdictional separation (ROI, UK, NI, US), and legal entity modeling.

Serve as the central integration point across Credit, Accounts, Customer, Payments, and associated downstream systems.

Analyze and resolve complex functional issues, including holiday calendars, rollovers, revaluations, overdue logic, CIF/region validation, sort codes, and account structures.

Develop clear and concise design and governance papers to facilitate decision-making by the Design Authority and senior stakeholders.

Engage directly with Temenos product and architecture teams, meticulously reviewing and closing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and functional use cases.

A minimum of 15 years of industry experience is required, with a strong foundation in core banking or lending platforms, particularly in corporate or syndicated lending solutions.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology domains, transcending single-function expertise.

Proven experience in taking ownership of complex design decisions, extending beyond mere requirements documentation.

Exceptional capability to navigate ambiguity, especially within legacy environments and under stringent regulatory constraints.
