Altimetrik is seeking a motivated Full Stack Engineer to join our innovative teams. You will collaborate closely with internal technical stakeholders and tech leads across diverse domains, serving clients in FinTech, Pharma, Retail, and other sectors.

This role involves designing and developing robust backend and frontend applications within an AWS environment. You'll contribute to the evolution of our data processing architecture and help create tools that enhance both operational efficiency and product capabilities.

Key responsibilities include partnering with customer R&D data science teams to define technical requirements for Pharma and life sciences projects. You will design, build, and maintain backend services using Python (FastAPI) on AWS, and develop user interfaces with React and TypeScript.

Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy data tools, tackle challenges in big data technologies, and prototype solutions to optimize data processing. A focus on creating seamless user experiences and integrating backend functionalities will be essential.

A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on backend and frontend application design and implementation within AWS is required. Proficiency in Python (FastAPI), async programming, REST API design, and AWS cloud services is essential.

Experience with NoSQL databases, caching strategies, and authentication management is necessary. For the frontend, expertise in TypeScript, React (including hooks and component architecture), Material-UI, responsive UI design, and state management is crucial. Familiarity with API integration, OAuth/OIDC, and React-based UI development for ML/data annotation interfaces is highly valued.

Desired skills include Docker, Git, and understanding of AWS ECS services. Excellent communication, teamwork, and comfort with Agile methodologies like Scrum are expected. The ability to thrive in ambiguous environments with minimal supervision is key.
