Boston Consulting Group (BCG) seeks a Senior Manager for SDLC Platforms to lead enterprise AI platform development. This role focuses on transforming the software development lifecycle through intelligent automation. You will collaborate with Product Management and engineering leaders to design and implement scalable AI capabilities, enhancing developer productivity, accelerating delivery, and improving engineering quality.

As a technical authority, you will define AI architecture, set engineering standards, and guide implementation. Your role involves mentoring engineers, driving the evolution towards autonomous multi-agent systems, and ensuring platforms are secure, resilient, observable, and compliant with Responsible AI principles.

This is a hybrid role, expecting approximately 50% of working time in the BCG office or in person with clients, fostering a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Define the technical direction for an enterprise AI platform focused on automating the software development lifecycle. Design and implement scalable AI capabilities, integrating with Atlassian products and modern practices like MCP and event-driven architectures. Serve as the technical authority for AI architecture, establishing standards and guiding implementation decisions. Mentor engineers and drive the evolution of AI capabilities towards autonomous systems. Lead architecture reviews, evaluate new AI technologies, and ensure platform security, resilience, and alignment with enterprise governance.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field is mandatory. Requires a minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience, with proven technical leadership in designing and delivering enterprise-scale software platforms. Demonstrated expertise in enterprise AI, Generative AI, and intelligent agent architectures, including building secure, scalable, production-ready AI solutions is essential. Strong knowledge of software architecture, cloud-native engineering, distributed systems, API-first design, and event-driven architectures across Azure and AWS. Experience integrating DevSecOps ecosystems, including Atlassian products, and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
