As an Elastic Stack Engineer, your typical day will involve designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise search, log analytics, and observability solutions. You'll work extensively with Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash, focusing on data ingestion, search optimization, dashboard creation, monitoring, alerting, and production support within cloud-native environments.

As an Elastic Stack Engineer, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash. Key responsibilities include designing and managing Elasticsearch indices, mappings, and ILM policies; building and optimizing search queries and aggregations; developing Logstash pipelines for data ingestion and transformation; integrating various data sources; and creating compelling Kibana dashboards and alerts. You will also configure security, deploy components using Docker and Kubernetes, monitor cluster health, troubleshoot issues, and participate in production support and on-call activities.

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 years of direct experience in Elastic Stack engineering, specifically with Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash. A strong command of Elasticsearch mappings, Query DSL, aggregations, and ILM is essential. Proficiency in developing Logstash pipelines, integrating data sources using tools like Filebeat or Elastic Agent, and building Kibana visualizations and alerts is required. Experience deploying the Elastic Stack on Docker and Kubernetes platforms, coupled with scripting skills in Bash or Python, is also crucial. The role demands the ability to diagnose performance issues and support production environments. A total of 5 years of experience is expected, following a 3+2 model, and 15 years of full-time education is a prerequisite.
