As a specialist in PHP backend development, your day-to-day will involve designing, building, and maintaining scalable applications. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and enhancing backend and web-tier applications using PHP 8.x, adhering to approved technical designs. Maintaining high code quality through static analysis and code reviews is paramount. Responsibilities include integrating Java/Spring Boot microservices via REST APIs, managing cross-platform data consistency, and implementing secure authentication mechanisms like OAuth2 and JWT.

This role also involves becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in PHP backend development and application support. You will work with modern cloud-native technologies and contribute to production support processes, ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications.

We are seeking candidates with 2-5 years of relevant experience in PHP backend development, including at least 2 years of hands-on production experience. A mandatory requirement is experience with the Laravel or Symfony frameworks. Familiarity with Agile and DevOps environments is essential for this role.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are crucial. Experience with cloud-native application development and modernization projects is highly valued. Knowledge of AWS cloud technologies, API development, and distributed systems is desirable. A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required for this position.
