In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on data lineage documentation, including identifying report owners and critical data elements. You will also document end-to-end data lineage, understand data transformations, and identify associated data risks in line with BCBS 239 guidelines. You'll map controls to mitigate data risks and perform quality assurance reviews on team deliverables. Additionally, you will automate lineage capture and documentation activities where feasible and provide functional support throughout all phases of project delivery, including guiding and coaching junior team members.

We are seeking a specialist with 4-9 years of experience in data for risk, financial, and supervisory reporting, with a strong understanding of data governance. Essential experience includes capital adequacy, risk exposures, source-system analysis, data extraction, and mapping data movements and transformations across reporting systems. Proficiency in automating lineage capture and documentation, along with experience in data catalogs and metadata repositories, is crucial. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required. Experience with regulatory reporting data platforms and financial/regulatory reports is highly preferred.
