Join EY as a Senior Financial Auditor within our FS-RISK CONSULTING-PROCESS and CONTROLS team. This client-facing role focuses on comprehensive audit projects, from planning and fieldwork to report clearance. You will be instrumental in identifying control design and effectiveness issues, producing robust documentation, and managing multiple auditee relationships as a key team player.

Key responsibilities include: - Managing client relationships by understanding their business and industry trends, developing strong working relationships, and maintaining proactive communication. - Developing and executing internal audit plans, defining scope and objectives based on process walkthroughs, and identifying key controls. - Conducting audits of financial, operational, and IT processes, discussing exceptions with management. - Evaluating internal control effectiveness and risk management systems, identifying weaknesses, and recommending improvements. - Assisting in preparing findings and recommendations, and following up on remediation. - Participating in cross-functional teams, supporting knowledge management, and mentoring junior team members.

To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 4-7 years of relevant experience in Financial Services, with Big 4 experience being a significant advantage. Recent Public Accounting experience performing assurance work is essential. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required. Strong knowledge of Finance department processes, including account reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting, as well as Compliance department processes and regulatory requirements, is crucial.
