This position offers the opportunity to manage the complete fund accounting and reporting cycle, from Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations to the finalization of financial statements.

Oversee the end-to-end fund accounting and reporting process for Private Credit Funds, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and established procedures.

Accurately record and review financial transactions, including loan drawdowns, repayments, interest income, fees, and gains/losses.

Support the comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual NAV calculation process.

Conduct thorough reviews of cash and bank reconciliations, promptly investigating any discrepancies.

Reconcile investment positions, loan balances, and accrued interest with portfolio managers and custodians.

Assist in preparing and reviewing investor reporting files and fund financial statements.

Support the review of capital call, distribution, and investor allocation processes.

Identify opportunities for process enhancement and contribute to automation and standardization initiatives.

Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and stakeholders to efficiently resolve queries.

Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, regulatory mandates, and organizational policies.

Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their development through training and knowledge sharing.

Demonstrate a working knowledge of AI capabilities applicable to operations and actively participate in AI-driven process improvement efforts.

Take ownership of decision-making, process optimization, resource management, and team supervision to achieve task execution goals.

Be accountable for personnel allocation, team supervision, task assignment, ensuring teams are equipped with necessary tools and support, and evaluating performance against organizational objectives.

Possess 4 to 8 years of robust experience within the asset management sector, with a strong preference for exposure to US-based asset management or fund administration firms.

Demonstrate proficiency with essential software tools, including document management systems, workflow systems, partnership accounting, and investment accounting software such as eFront, Investran, Yardi, Eagle, or Geneva.

Exhibit deep expertise in fund accounting and financial reporting, investment accounting principles, financial statement preparation, regulatory and statutory reporting, and consolidation reporting.

Have hands-on experience with operational aspects like NAV finalization, reconciliations, management reporting, and investor reporting, including reconciling investor capital balances and allocating profits and losses.

Maintain a strong command of journal entry processes.

Experience with Private Equity Funds, Real Estate Funds, and Private Credit Funds is highly valued.

Possess a comprehensive understanding of US GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.

A Master's degree in accounting or finance will be considered an advantageous qualification.

Exhibit crisp and effective executive communication skills, with significant experience presenting to cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.

Understanding of Business Requirements Documents (BRD) would be an added advantage.
