Join EY's Financial Services Office (FSO) as a Mortgage Quality Control (QC) Analyst, contributing to our Risk Consulting practice. This role focuses on providing integrated consulting services to financial institutions, leveraging deep industry experience and functional capabilities. You will be instrumental in helping clients manage market, credit, operational, and regulatory risks within capital markets and trading activities.

As a key member of the Mortgage Quality Control team, you will conduct thorough post-underwriting and post-funding reviews of US residential mortgage loans. Your responsibilities include evaluating underwriting decisions, ensuring adherence to internal credit policies, and verifying compliance with investor and regulatory requirements. This involves detailed examination of loan files to identify deficiencies, documentation gaps, and control weaknesses, offering actionable insights to improve mortgage credit quality and risk management frameworks.

We seek candidates with a strong foundation in US residential mortgage products and underwriting frameworks, coupled with experience in mortgage QC/QA, including pre-funding and post-closing reviews. Proficiency in analyzing borrower financials, validating underwriting calculations, and assessing collateral documentation is essential. You should possess experience in preparing structured QC reports and performing trend analysis. An MBA/CA or equivalent with 3–8 years of relevant experience is required, alongside advanced Excel skills. Exposure to reporting tools like Power BI or SQL is a plus.
