EY's Financial Services Office (FSO) provides integrated consulting services to financial institutions and capital markets participants. Our FSO practice offers expertise in market, credit, and operational risk management, regulatory consulting, quantitative consulting, and more. The Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) group within Risk Consulting delivers solutions for identifying, measuring, managing, and monitoring market, credit, operational, and regulatory risks.

The Business Solutions team within FSRM focuses on end-to-end Capital Management, CECL, BASEL, credit risk, and ICAAP activities. This role is crucial for producing critical deliverables for senior management and regulators, including capital projections, ICAAP frameworks, and oversight of regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include producing essential deliverables for senior management and regulators, such as capital projections, ICAAP frameworks, and overseeing various regulatory requirements. You will provide consulting and deliver solutions, including impact assessments and defining target operating models. Quality assurance involves assessing controls for banking and similar business lines, covering regulatory reporting like Basel/CRR/CECL/COREP/FINREP and ICAAP frameworks.

You will be responsible for the early identification and accurate analysis of prudential developments impacting the capital framework. This includes assessing regulatory capital impacts for legal entity simplifications, reorganizations, new business initiatives, and commitments to regulators. Clients include major domestic and global financial institutions, broker-dealers, and asset management firms, often involving direct engagement with senior executives like CFOs and CROs.

We are looking for candidates with a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Finance/Economics) or a CA qualification, complemented by 7-10 years of experience in financial analysis or risk-related roles. Foundational experience, such as an internship or junior role, in financial analysis, credit risk, audit, or corporate finance is essential.

Essential skills include a strong understanding of financial statements, core credit risk principles, and familiarity with project finance, corporate, or sovereign risk concepts. Advanced proficiency in Excel is required, with foundational knowledge of Power BI and/or SQL being a plus. A working knowledge of Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, and Financial Reporting frameworks is necessary. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly. An automation and innovation mindset, along with basic AI knowledge, is also expected.
