The Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) group within EY's Business Consulting Practice delivers solutions to help clients identify, measure, manage, and monitor various risks associated with their trading, capital management, and capital markets activities.

This role focuses on Wholesale Credit Quality Assurance (WCQA) within a managed services framework. Key responsibilities include independently reviewing credit portfolios, assessing underwriting quality against policies, and executing end-to-end QA processes. You will conduct Quality Assurance Reviews (QARs) across the credit lifecycle, providing credible challenge to underwriters and portfolio teams on decisions and documentation. Generating thematic, portfolio-level insights to identify weaknesses, training gaps, and process deficiencies will be crucial for continuous improvement.

We are seeking experienced Credit Risk and Quality Assurance professionals with 5-7 years of experience in wholesale credit underwriting, risk management, loan review, or related assurance roles. A CA or Bachelor's/Master's degree in finance, accounting, or economics is required. Essential skills include a strong understanding of the wholesale credit risk lifecycle, risk management frameworks, and the ability to evaluate control effectiveness. You must be adept at reviewing credit work products, providing clear documentation, and producing structured QA reports with thematic insights. Demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration and awareness of AI/ML in credit risk management are also necessary.
