Join EY's Global Delivery Services (GDS) as a Senior in the Life Actuarial Managed Services Practice. You will deliver solutions to leading insurance sector clients, collaborating with a global network of actuarial and consulting professionals. This role offers the chance to work on large-scale engagements, develop client relationships, and contribute to a high-performing team.
Our GDS team leverages subject matter expertise and technology to create innovative solutions for complex financial services challenges. Become part of a dynamic environment focused on enabling world-class actuarial services globally. We foster a supportive and collaborative culture where bright minds work together to drive success.
As a Senior Actuarial professional, you will develop and implement solutions within the insurance service line and in collaboration with other service lines. Responsibilities include reviewing the work of junior team members to ensure quality and meet deadlines. You will manage and modify existing modeling setups for cash flow incorporation and understand Actuarial of Change (AoC) concepts and steps.
Key tasks involve running and modifying macros for actuarial cash flow transformation, implementing solutions using actuarial valuation software (Prophet, Axis, MG Alpha), and preparing presentations. You will also gain in-depth understanding of insurance products and regulations across various geographies, with a focus on US product lines and regulatory standards.
We seek individuals with 3-6 years of experience in valuation, reporting, pricing, or modeling within a life actuarial team of an insurance, consulting, or outsourcing company. Essential skills include strong analytical capabilities, the ability to independently solve problems within models and reporting processes, and a willingness to learn and apply new knowledge actively.
Proficiency in MS-Office Suite is mandatory, along with strong Excel skills capable of running and modifying macros. Experience with actuarial valuation software like Prophet, Axis, or MG Alpha is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will possess good actuarial exam progress, excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and presentations, and the ability to build collaborative relationships across teams. Knowledge of US product lines and regulatory standards is crucial, and hands-on implementation experience is considered an advantage.
