As a Senior Manager, you will spearhead the delivery of UK P&C actuarial work, providing essential technical oversight and fostering a high-performing GDS team.

Key responsibilities include: - Ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of multiple UK P&C actuarial engagements, offering technical guidance and review. - Managing engagement priorities, budgets, resources, timelines, and risks, with proactive communication to UK stakeholders. - Acting as a strategic advisor to UK leadership and client-serving teams, influencing actuarial strategies and delivery models. - Supporting business development efforts, including proposal preparation and expanding GDS actuarial services. - Leveraging advanced analytics, automation, and AI to enhance engagement efficiency and insights. - Identifying opportunities to modernize actuarial processes using technology and data science.

To excel in this role, you should possess at least 10 years of relevant P&C actuarial experience within insurance, consulting, or professional services. A proven history of building and scaling actuarial teams, coupled with strong knowledge of the UK P&C insurance market, is essential.

Your qualifications should include: - Substantial hands-on experience in P&C reserving, including reviewing complex analyses and applying professional judgment. - In-depth understanding of UK P&C insurance products, reserving practices, and the regulatory landscape. - Demonstrated experience managing multiple actuarial engagements, stakeholders, budgets, and operational risks. - Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and lead geographically distributed teams. - Fellowship of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA) or an equivalent international actuarial body is required. Exceptional candidates with outstanding expertise may be considered even if Fellowship is not yet attained.

Ideally, you'll also bring experience with UK insurers or the London Market, familiarity with actuarial reserving and analytics platforms (e.g., ResQ, Python, SQL), and exposure to capital modeling, Solvency II, or IFRS 17. A keen interest in automation, AI, and technology-driven actuarial transformation is highly valued.
