Our vision-language models are designed for OCR and structured extraction, and this role is crucial in building the systems that bring these models to production. We aim to create a cost-effective, India-centric document intelligence platform that rivals leading hosted models.

As the frontend owner for the vision team, you will design and implement critical user interfaces for document intelligence. This includes developing document viewers with field-level grounding, intuitive review and correction workflows, and robust extraction schema builders. You will also create evaluation dashboards and the developer console for enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities involve building real-time, performance-sensitive UIs capable of rendering large documents with complex overlays, managing streaming results, and enabling seamless correction loops. You'll collaborate closely with backend and applied AI engineers, driving the frontend architecture, ensuring high performance, and setting standards for quality and accessibility.

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer with 4-5 years of proven experience in building production-grade frontend applications, demonstrating strong ownership. Expertise in React, including hooks, rendering behavior, and state management at scale, is essential.

Proficiency in TypeScript and a deep understanding of browser platform capabilities (layout, events, memory, rendering) are required. Experience with complex, data-dense product interfaces like dashboards or annotation tools is highly valued. Familiarity with API integration patterns, including async state, caching, and streaming, is crucial. A keen design sensibility to ship clean, user-friendly interfaces is also important.
