As a leader, you'll provide deep technical mentorship, aligning strategy with Product, Engineering, and Google Cloud Sales leadership. You'll be instrumental in overcoming production challenges, including data readiness, integration complexities, and state management, to ensure AI achieves enterprise-grade maturity.

Establish technical leadership by defining code standards, architectural best practices, and performance benchmarks to enhance team engineering excellence.

Collaborate with Sales and Tech Leadership to pinpoint high-value opportunities and deploy specialized experts, such as MLOps, GenMedia, or Agentic Systems specialists, to key accounts.

Spearhead technical hiring for FDE, assessing AI/ML expertise, systems engineering capabilities, and coding proficiency to build an outstanding engineering team.

Identify and address skill gaps in emerging technologies like Model Context Protocol (MCP), tool-calling, and foundation models to maintain team subject matter expertise in the dynamic AI landscape.

Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to eliminate blockers, translate field insights into actionable roadmaps, and develop internal tools to boost organizational efficiency.

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required.

Possess at least 8 years of experience in cloud computing or a technical customer-facing role.

Demonstrate 5 years of experience managing a software engineering, FDE, or similar technical customer-facing team within a cloud computing environment.

Proficiency in Python or a comparable coding language is essential.

Experience developing AI/GenAI solutions, utilizing AI tools, or designing multi-agent workflows and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems is crucial.

Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree or PhD in AI, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Experience designing secure, observable multi-agent systems, working with manufacturing and conglomerate customers, and creating intuitive AI interfaces is highly advantageous.
