As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer, you will be instrumental in owning the complete analytics value chain. This involves framing new business challenges, conceptualizing innovative algorithms, implementing and deploying scalable solutions, and empowering colleagues and clients to fully embrace artificial intelligence. Our offerings range from bespoke custom builds to specialized AI software solutions tailored for specific industries. You will be an integral part of our rapidly expanding engineering team, contributing to the development of next-generation AI solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and disseminating thought leadership within scientific communities and publications, and representing BCG X at industry conferences. Your role involves applying robust software development practices and standards to create maintainable and efficient software, actively participating in all phases of the development lifecycle, and optimizing the computational efficiency of algorithms and software designs.

We are seeking passionate individuals with a strong foundation in software development, large-scale data analytics, and a drive to transform organizations into AI-centric innovative companies. Key qualifications include expertise in applying software development practices for robust and maintainable code, active engagement throughout the software development process, and experience guiding non-technical teams on software development best practices. You should be adept at optimizing computational efficiency for algorithms and software design, thriving in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment with direct client interaction on new product features. Enjoying collaboration within diverse teams to share design ideas and solutions is essential. We look for natural problem-solvers with intellectual curiosity across various industries and topics. Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Czech/Slovak and English (C1/C2) are required. A Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field of study is necessary.
