Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies tailored for embedded firmware and software applications. Execute both manual and automated testing across diverse hardware platforms for embedded products. Validate firmware functionality, performance, reliability, and scalability, conducting thorough regression, integration, system, and stress testing for all firmware releases.

Key duties include identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using bug-tracking tools, and performing root cause analysis. You will design and maintain automated test frameworks using Python or Bash scripting, while actively validating communication protocols and hardware interfaces in collaboration with hardware and firmware engineers. Participate in design reviews and offer quality-focused feedback throughout development cycles.

A strong foundation in embedded systems concepts is essential, including knowledge of microcontrollers, sensors, and embedded hardware architectures. Experience with hardware interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, and ideally CAN is required. Proficiency in C and C++ programming is necessary.

Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux environments is also a key requirement. This role is for experienced professionals with 4-6 years in the field, contributing to the Products & Systems Engineering community. The position is a permanent, full-time role located in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai.
