This position involves the daily management and operational support of critical network security infrastructure, primarily utilizing products from vendors like Palo Alto and FortiGate. You will be instrumental in designing, validating, and troubleshooting complex traffic flows and security configurations, ensuring robust protection for multiple clients.

As a key member of our team, you'll tackle intricate network security challenges, conduct in-depth analysis, and develop effective solutions with minimal oversight. Independent problem-solving and timely escalation are vital components of this role, ensuring seamless service delivery.

Manage and resolve customer network security incidents, changes, and problems, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.

Implement advanced network security solutions and provide continuous operational support within diverse customer environments.

Provide expert-level support for Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, alongside cloud proxy solutions like Netskope.

Leverage deep knowledge of Palo Alto features, including URL filtering, vulnerability protection, AV, and anti-spyware profiles, along with App-ID and application filtering.

Excel in troubleshooting complex issues using packet captures and debug logs on Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls.

Serve as a technical escalation point for L2 support engineers and develop custom Palo Alto queries for reporting.

Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for high-severity incidents and conduct regular system maintenance and documentation updates.

Possess hands-on expertise with Palo Alto, Prisma, and Fortinet security products.

Demonstrate a strong ability to analyze complex technical issues and devise optimal solutions, coupled with unwavering ethics and integrity.

Exhibit flexibility in adapting to evolving customer, account, and team needs, along with excellent customer-facing communication skills and a solid understanding of ITIL best practices.

Require extensive architect-level knowledge of firewalls (Palo Alto), F5, Prisma SASE, routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), and switching technologies.

Understand the integration of authentication protocols such as LDAP, IWA, SSO, and Active Directory.

Hold at least two mid-level network security certifications from recognized vendors (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet).

Possess 12+ years of network troubleshooting experience, with a minimum of 7 years in network and security administration, and a clear understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
