The objective is to align cost recovery with actual consumption and demonstrable business value, all while upholding rigorous governance and audit compliance standards.
Key responsibilities include owning the complete IT Platform Recovery model (cloud, SaaS, infrastructure) and defining its cost pools, allocation drivers, and recovery logic to ensure alignment with consumption and business usage.
You will analyze financial performance, including Actuals vs. Budget vs. Forecast, and recovery variances, providing critical insights into cloud overspend, SaaS utilization, and recovery gaps. Support for MBR/QBR reporting is also essential.
Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with the CIO organization, platform owners, and regional finance teams, serving as the primary contact for IT recovery topics and aligning stakeholders on methodology, data, and timelines.
Driving cost optimization is a core function, involving oversight of cloud and SaaS consumption, identification of savings opportunities, and support for optimizing licensing and platform utilization.
A Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Commerce is required, complemented by 10-12 years of relevant experience in IT Finance, FP&A, or cost recovery.
Essential technical skills encompass financial modeling and cost allocation expertise, a strong grasp of IT cost structures and consumption models, and proficiency in Advanced Excel and Power BI. SAP experience is preferred.
Behavioral competencies include strong stakeholder management skills at a senior level, an analytical and structured approach with keen attention to detail, and a robust governance and control mindset.
Candidates must be open to flexible shifts and a hybrid work environment, with potential for extended hours to meet deadlines. Effective collaboration across different geographies and time zones is crucial. A strong commitment to integrity, internal controls, data privacy, teamwork, and process orientation is expected, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
