Lead our finance operations, overseeing all aspects of cash flow including collections, payments, and treasury management across India and US entities. You will be the primary contact for internal teams on payment matters, vendor relationships, reimbursements, and approvals. Your role will encompass end-to-end management of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, payment runs, and collections. You will also manage employee reimbursements, corporate card spend, and ensure adherence to expense policies. Reconciliation of payment gateway settlements, tracking daily cash positions, and managing banking relationships are key functions. Additionally, you will oversee FX conversions, inter-entity funding, and cross-border remittances, ensuring compliance with FEMA regulations. A significant part of this role involves owning India statutory compliance, including GST, TDS, PF/ESI, and professional tax, as well as coordinating US compliance items. You will also manage vendor payment timelines and contracts, coordinate payroll inputs, and act as the main point of contact for internal business teams on financial queries. Building robust internal controls to prevent financial leakage and providing documentation for audits and fundraising are critical aspects of this position.

We are seeking a Chartered Accountant with 5-7 years of post-qualification experience, preferably gained in a startup or high-growth environment. Essential is hands-on experience managing AP, AR, and month-end operational closes, including reconciliations and vendor management. A strong working knowledge of Indian financial regulations such as GST, TDS, and FEMA, along with expertise in cross-border payment compliance, is required. Experience with treasury and foreign exchange operations, including multi-currency payments, is crucial. Proficiency with ERP systems, accounting software, spend or P2P tools, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills are mandatory. A solid understanding of internal controls, approval workflows, and fraud prevention is expected. Excellent communication skills, a service-oriented mindset, and a high degree of attention to detail are necessary to manage multiple deadlines effectively in a dynamic setting. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision and is comfortable navigating ambiguity and change.
