Manage and administer Microsoft Fabric, including tenant settings, workspaces, and capacity. Implement robust security measures, define permissions, and manage service principals and gateways.

Develop and optimize data solutions using SQL, focusing on incremental loading, watermarks, and SCD Type 1/Type 2 implementations.

Leverage Lakehouse, Warehouse, and OneLake features, including shortcuts and metadata-driven pipelines, for efficient data management. Ensure proper audit/error handling and manage Dev–QA–Prod deployment strategies.

Utilize Power BI for semantic modeling, Direct Lake, DirectQuery, and RLS. Troubleshoot refresh issues and develop complex DAX measures. Employ Power Query/M and Power Automate for data transformations, query folding, API integrations, and pipeline automation.

A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in data engineering is required.

Essential skills include strong proficiency in Microsoft Fabric administration, tenant settings, workspace and capacity management, security roles, permissions, service principals, gateways, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Expertise in SQL, incremental loading, watermarks, and SCD Type 1/Type 2 is crucial. A solid understanding of Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake, shortcuts, Dataflows Gen2, metadata-driven pipelines, audit/error handling, and Dev–QA–Prod deployments is necessary.

Proficiency in Power BI, including semantic modelling, Direct Lake, DirectQuery, RLS, DAX, and refresh troubleshooting, is a must. Experience with Power Query/M and Power Automate for transformations, query folding, pipeline automation, API calls, authentication, and error handling is also required.
