EY GDS FAAS (Control and Compliance) is seeking a Senior professional to join our team. This role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic environment focused on Financial Accounting Advisory Services, including support for accounting changes, special matters, and robust accounting processes and controls.

As a SOX professional, you will leverage your CA/CPA/ACCA/MBA qualification and expertise in IFC and SOX audit processes. This role involves leading significant projects in SOX implementation, documentation, control testing, internal control evaluation, financial reporting reliability, compliance, and operational efficiency enhancement.

Key responsibilities include executing SOX and IFC design, walkthroughs, and implementation; conducting business process reviews and creating flowcharts and RACMs; performing risk assessments and identifying key accounts; preparing SOX documentation; testing control effectiveness and proposing improvements; leading SOX compliance phases; and supporting audit planning and reporting. You will also be accountable for clear communication of control deficiencies, remediation strategies, decision-making, process optimization, resource management, and team supervision to achieve organizational goals.

We are looking for a qualified CA/CPA/ACCA with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, and 2-7 years specifically in SOX/IFC implementation. Essential skills include experience with RACM, control testing, and remediation, alongside a strong grasp of the COSO framework and PCAOB requirements. A solid understanding of financial statements (Indian/US GAAP) is crucial.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities, with proficiency in Excel, Word, Visio, and MS Office tools. Experience working with international clients and prior experience within multinational consulting firms or Big4 firms are highly preferred.
