Key responsibilities include managing debt servicing for borrowing portfolios, foreign exchange, and derivative transactions. You will oversee subledger reconciliation with the general ledger and handle investment accounting for alternative assets like private credit and real estate. The role involves addressing automation challenges in investment processes, performing detailed variance analysis, and communicating findings. Experience with Investment Systems (FIS, SAP, Calypso, Clearwater, BlackRock) and Treasury Management Systems (Reval, Kariba, FIS Quantum) is crucial. Support securitization transactions, de-recognition assessments, and ensure timely and accurate client deliverables. Performing month-end close processes and developing accounting function tools are also key aspects.

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Audit, Controllership, or Consulting within the Banking sector, with expertise in the latest IFRS/US GAAP developments, is required. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, coupled with a relevant professional qualification (e.g., Chartered Accountant, CPA, ACCA), is necessary. Expertise in investment systems and related accounting policies is preferred. Advanced skills in financial risk management, cash flow forecasting, and treasury technology are essential. A strong understanding of IFRS/US GAAP for financial instruments and international auditing standards is expected. Experience in large asset management firms or banking institutions is a plus. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are vital.
