Our Global Delivery Services (GDS) operates across ten locations globally, including India, and plays a vital role in delivering high-quality support to clients worldwide. We offer services in Assurance, Consulting, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge management, enabling account teams to provide exceptional client service. Enablement Services further supports EY's global and local teams with cost-effective, innovative solutions across various domains like Finance, Risk Management, and IT.

The FAAS R2R Staff is responsible for ensuring the timeliness and quality of work according to project requirements, with a strong understanding of accounting under IFRS/US GAAP. This includes executing period-end close activities, general accounting, and financial reporting.

You will execute tasks with growing autonomy, applying sound judgment and contributing to team success. Proactive initiative, independent resolution of routine issues, and support for junior colleagues are expected. Identifying and communicating engagement risks to senior team members is crucial. Ensuring high-quality work through thorough reviews aligns with EY's commitment to excellence.

Key responsibilities include journal entry creation and booking, performing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books, fixed asset capitalization and reconciliation, intercompany accounting, and general ledger reconciliations. You will ensure adherence to KPIs and SLAs, receive direction from Seniors and Managers, and maintain effective stakeholder coordination. Variance reporting, analytical review, and supporting SOP and training material development are also integral parts of this role.

Success in this role requires a solid understanding of accounting concepts and professional standards, including IFRS/US GAAP and UK GAAP. Experience with entity-level reporting, intercompany accounting, fixed asset capitalization, consolidation support, financial statement close processes, and lease accounting is essential.

We are looking for individuals comfortable researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations and industry practices. Ideally, candidates will have experience with SAP S4/Hana, advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP, Macros), and familiarity with ERP systems like PeopleSoft, SAP, or Oracle. Knowledge of data analytics/visualization tools is a plus. Flexibility for travel and strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills are highly valued.

Candidates should possess a B.com, BBA, CA (Inter), CWA (Inter), ACCA (UK), DIP (IFR), or MBA from a reputable institute. We require 1-3 years of relevant experience, including in entity/BU reporting, financial statement close processes, and MIS reporting.
