This position is responsible for ensuring the timely and high-quality execution of tasks aligned with project requirements within the FAAS team, requiring strong knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP. Key duties include overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, managing consolidation and financial reporting, processing journal entries and adjustments, and reconciling general ledger accounts. Responsibilities also encompass pre-close activities, fixed asset accounting, capital project management, and ensuring adherence to KPIs and SLAs. The role involves leading a team of 6-10 members, reviewing team members' work, providing variance analysis and commentary, developing SOPs and training materials, and offering technical support on US GAAP/IFRS. You will also collaborate with stakeholders, support client relationships, assist in business development activities, and be involved in team hiring and mentoring.

We are seeking professionals with a strong understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, and UK GAAP, alongside extensive experience in at least three of the following areas: business unit/entity reporting, record-to-report processes, technical accounting research and advisory, consolidation and compilation support, and financial statement close process support. A solid grasp of lease accounting principles is also essential. Candidates should be adept at researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations and industry practices. Experience with various ERP packages, particularly SAP, is required. Ideally, candidates will possess a CA, ACCA (UK), CPA, or a regular MBA from a reputable institution, coupled with 10-15 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office is expected, with knowledge of data analytics/visualization tools being an added advantage. Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills are crucial for this role.
