Join EY's Global Delivery Services (GDS) team as a FAAS Manager, specializing in Record to Report (R2R). GDS is a global network of service delivery centers supporting EY's growth agenda with over 80,000 professionals worldwide. Our team provides crucial support across Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge functions. We enable seamless, high-quality client service and offer innovative solutions in areas like Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, and IT Service Delivery.

This role is integral to our FAAS team, ensuring the quality and timeliness of work according to project requirements. A strong understanding of IFRS/US GAAP and prior experience leading period-end close and financial reporting activities are essential for success.

Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of financial books, including consolidation and intercompany transactions. Manage journal entries, allocations, and period-end adjustments. Perform GL reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and monitor capital projects.

Ensure adherence to KPIs and SLAs, managing escalations as needed. Lead a team of 6-10 members, including PMO activities. Provide direction from Senior Managers and leadership, maintaining effective stakeholder coordination. Conduct detailed reviews of team members' work and prepare variance reports with commentary.

Develop SOPs and training materials. Offer technical support using USGAAP/IFRS guidance. Ensure quality client service delivery by directing fieldwork and managing client expectations for deliverables. Support Senior Managers in business development and hiring processes. Foster team development through structured learning paths and mentorship.

Possess strong accounting knowledge in IFRS/US GAAP and UK GAAP. Demonstrate extensive experience in at least three of the following areas: Business Unit/Entity level reporting, Record to Report, Technical Accounting Research, Consolidation & Compilation Support, and Financial Statement Close Process Support. A solid understanding of Lease Accounting is also required.

Showcase the ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations and industry practices. Familiarity with various ERP packages, particularly SAP, is expected. Ideally, you will have an understanding of SAP S/4HANA public or private cloud, proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office, and experience with data analytics/visualization tools is a plus.

This role requires strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills with a proactive approach. Candidates should hold a CA, ACCA (UK), CPA, or a regular MBA from a reputable institution, with 7-12 years of relevant experience in areas such as Entity/BU reporting, financial statement close, and MIS reporting.
