Join EY's Global Delivery Services (GDS) as a Manager in the FAAS (Financial Accounting Advisory Services) team. You'll be instrumental in ensuring the quality and timeliness of financial reporting for our clients, leveraging your strong accounting and financial reporting expertise. This role is crucial to EY's growth strategy, supporting our global network of service delivery centers.

Our GDS team is a significant part of EY's operations, comprising over 80,000 professionals across ten global locations. We provide essential support to EY's global and local enablement teams, offering services in finance, accounting, risk management, and more. The FAAS team specifically focuses on delivering high-caliber financial accounting and reporting services, including GAAP conversions and advisory on complex accounting changes.

As a Manager in the FAAS team, you will oversee engagement delivery for Financial Accounting and Reporting, including complex GAAP conversions. You'll provide expert advice to client teams on accounting changes such as IFRS adoption, revenue recognition, and lease accounting, as well as assist in developing accounting policy manuals and technical memorandums.

Key responsibilities include leading a team of 7-10 members, managing engagement PMO activities, and fostering strong stakeholder coordination. You will coach junior team members, promote technical excellence, and conduct detailed reviews of their work. Integrating with other EY service lines for multi-disciplinary projects and developing technical accounting training programs are also integral parts of this role. You will ensure client service quality by directing fieldwork and reporting engagement status, while also participating in hiring and mentoring team members.

To excel in this role, you must possess expert knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, or UK GAAP, coupled with extensive experience in financial statement preparation, consolidation processes, and GAAP conversions. A proven track record in drafting accounting policies and technical memorandums is essential.

We are looking for individuals with a strong ability to provide technical accounting advisory on complex topics, including financial instruments, deferred tax, business combinations, consolidation, and debt/equity issues. Candidates should be adept at explaining and managing intricate accounting and financial reporting challenges. Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA (UK), or CPA are required, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
