EY seeks a Manager for its Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team. EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Assurance supports global client-serving teams across various industry sectors. Our professionals provide sector knowledge and subject matter expertise, enabling EY client teams in over 30 countries to meet audit requirements for leading companies worldwide.

As a FAAS Manager, you will lead teams on engagements focused on process and control areas. Key responsibilities include managing engagement planning, budgeting, and execution. You will oversee client engagements in governance, risk, compliance (GRC), process reviews, standard operating procedures, enterprise risk management, SOX, and ICFR.

This role involves managing SOX engagements and driving processes such as Financial Statement Close, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Treasury, PPE, and Intangible Assets, along with risk management. You will manage projects for process improvement and implementation, including drafting risk and control matrices, process placemats, and documenting SOPs. Ensuring deliverables meet specifications and deadlines, developing project delivery tools and methodologies, and creating practical solutions for client process and control objectives are critical.

Additional responsibilities include contributing to client and internal relationship management, leading proposal development for Process and Control/SOX engagements, and developing new service offerings and go-to-market strategies. You will also review compliance with internal quality and risk management guidelines, identify cross-selling opportunities, manage internal initiatives for group efficiency, and mentor FAAS team members.

Candidates should possess a Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA (US), ACCA (UK), or an MBA qualification with 5-10 years of experience in global corporate process, risk, and control. Experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Process and Control, Process Reviews, Standard Operating Procedures, Enterprise Risk Management, Revenue Assurance, SOX, and ICFR is essential.

Proficiency is required in design and implementation testing, process walkthroughs, and testing control effectiveness. Strong problem-solving, analytical, sales, presentation, and client management skills are vital. Candidates must demonstrate strong training and mentoring capabilities, the ability to manage a team, and establish credibility as a trusted advisor. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly, are necessary.

We are looking for individuals with strong executive presence who can interface with all management levels, both internally and with clients. Robust project management and organizational experience are expected. The role requires a willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% to 80% of the time.
