As a FAAS Manager, you will provide expert advisory services, focusing on accounting and regulatory support, accounting change, special matters, and process improvements. This role offers the opportunity to manage client engagements, drive quality, and contribute to EY's global mission.
Manage FAAS professional teams during engagements covering process and control areas. Key responsibilities include engagement planning, budgeting, and execution. You will lead client-related engagements in governance, risk & compliance (GRC), process reviews, standard operating procedures, enterprise risk management, SOX, and Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR).
Specifically, you will manage SOX engagements, process and control reviews, or drive improvements in financial statement close processes, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, inventory, fixed assets, treasury, and intangible assets. Responsibilities also extend to managing projects for process improvement, drafting risk and control matrices, documenting SOPs, and ensuring deliverables meet specifications. You will also develop client relationships, manage proposal development, and identify cross-selling opportunities.
Candidates must possess a Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA (US), ACCA (UK), or MBA qualification, with 5-10 years of experience in global corporate process, risk, and control environments. Expertise is required in SOX, GRC, process reviews, SOP development, enterprise risk management, and ICFR, including design and implementation testing of controls.
Demonstrated strengths in problem-solving, analytical thinking, sales, presentations, and client management are essential. The ability to train, mentor, manage teams effectively, and establish credibility with clients is crucial. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for presenting complex information clearly. Executive presence and project management experience are also required. Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% to 80% of the time is expected.
