As an Investment Accounting Specialist Manager, you will lead financial accounting and reporting excellence. This includes preparing and supporting accounting policy development aligned with Group Accounting Policy for IFRS/US GAAP and proposing solutions for investment accounting and reporting challenges.

You will utilize expert knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP and extensive hands-on experience in securities and derivatives accounting, policy drafting, technical research, consolidation, and financial statement close support. Your responsibilities will extend to training and supervising junior staff, managing engagement teams, planning, budgeting, and execution while ensuring adherence to project specifications and deadlines.

Further, you will contribute to developing new service offerings and go-to-market strategies, conduct performance reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning. You will also build and maintain strong client relationships, stay abreast of economic developments, and enhance relationships with global teams to identify opportunities.

This role involves managing quality assurance, monitoring risks, and exploring cross-selling opportunities for EY services. You will also participate in ad-hoc internal initiatives to improve group efficiency and integration.

We are seeking candidates with 6 to 10 years of post-qualification experience in assurance or finance controllership roles, including a minimum of 2 years in Financial Accounting and Advisory. Professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA (US), or ACCA (UK) are mandatory.

Prior experience with IFRS/US GAAP, including the valuation of financial instruments and associated processes/controls, is essential. Experience working with clients in the financial services industry (e.g., insurance, broker/dealers, banks, credit unions) is also mandatory.

Candidates should demonstrate mastery of key concepts in process improvements, project management, and change management, applying them effectively in engagement settings. Strong problem-solving, analytical, sales, presentation, and client management skills are vital.
