EY is seeking a FAAS Managed Services Manager with extensive accounting and financial reporting expertise. This role involves overseeing the quality and timeliness of work for the FAAS team, ensuring adherence to project requirements. Lead engagement delivery for Financial Accounting and Reporting, including GAAP conversions. Provide expert advice on accounting changes, such as IFRS adoption, revenue recognition, and lease accounting, as well as accounting policy manuals and technical memorandums. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while managing client accounts.

Direct a team of 7-10 professionals, including PMO activities, ensuring effective stakeholder coordination and issue resolution with business accounting teams and internal partners. Mentor junior team members, foster technical excellence, and conduct detailed reviews of their work. Integrate with other EY service lines for multidisciplinary projects and develop/deliver accounting technical training. Ensure fieldwork quality and inform supervisors of engagement status. Participate in hiring, structured learning paths, and act as an operations mentor.

Candidates must possess expert knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, or UK GAAP. Proven experience in filing 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K with the SEC, or experience within a listed company's corporate finance team managing quarterly and annual financial filings is essential.

Extensive experience is required in financial statement preparation and consolidation, GAAP conversions, adoption of new accounting standards, drafting accounting policies, and writing technical memorandums. You should also have experience in technical accounting advisory on complex topics like financial instruments, deferred tax, business combinations, consolidation, and debt/equity, with the ability to explain and manage these intricate issues.
